LAVA TUBE

Cavern’s dark
Little spark
Water still
Air is chill
All alone
In the stone
Underground
Not a sound
Lost my way
One more day
I’ll survive
If I dive
Water’s deep
Walls are steep
Hold my breath
Life or death
Kick my feet
No retreat
This is it
Never quit
Aching chest
Air obsessed
Light at last
Faster fast
Reaching through
Overdue
Fainting now
Know not how
All is lost
Pay the cost
Sudden splash
Brilliant flash
Living air
Everywhere
